Representing the UAE at the Global Pavilion

Attending Fly Asia 2025 in Busan was an inspiring experience. As part of Turning Point MEA, I joined the Global Pavilion Zone alongside Thiqa Education and Space Point, representing the UAE. For two days, our booth became my base—welcoming visitors, introducing our work, and sharing our story with people from different countries.

On the opening day, I also supported our partner companies, guiding interested buyers to their booths and stepping in whenever communication in English or Korean was needed. Each interaction required me to adjust naturally, depending on whether I was speaking with investors, entrepreneurs, or media guests.

English and Korean reporter!

One of the most memorable moments was assisting with interviews when a journalist from Bridge Economy came to cover the UAE delegation. I believed that if the companies’ perspectives were conveyed accurately, the resulting article would be more meaningful. So I stepped in to interpret between English and Korean, ensuring the dialogue flowed smoothly.

Throughout the session, I listened carefully, chose the right expressions, and kept the conversation moving without interruptions—allowing the company representatives to speak freely and with confidence.

Knowing that my role in bridging these conversations helped the journalist craft his story made the experience deeply rewarding. It was a moment that reminded me how much impact effective communication can have.

Creative, Energetic, and Multilingual!

Outside the formal interviews and meetings, the atmosphere was filled with energy and creativity. Together with Thiqa Education and Space Point, we recorded short videos, took promotional photos, and even created playful clips inspired by trending memes(technologia! haha)

In one video, I introduced the company in Arabic; in another, we prepared multilingual messages in English and Korean. These pieces were later uploaded to Instagram and LinkedIn, giving a lively snapshot of the event.

Brainstorming ideas on the spot, improvising together, and laughing through multiple retakes turned simple content into memorable shared experiences, while also serving as authentic promotion for our companies.

Engaging Visitors and Running the Booth

Representing Turning Point MEA also meant being proactive on the ground. I managed the booth, greeted visitors, and made sure each person felt welcomed. Rather than waiting for people to approach, I often initiated conversations—sharing what we do, answering questions, and connecting visitors with the right partners.

Each exchange was unique: some wanted to know about market opportunities, others were curious about our company itself. These interactions pushed me to adapt quickly and find the right way to communicate depending on the audience.

Building Connections and Lasting Impressions

What I carry with me most from Fly Asia 2025 are the relationships built along the way. From lighthearted content creation to meaningful conversations, the festival became a space where professional work and personal connections blended naturally.

I am especially grateful to Mr. Abdullah and Mr. Omar for their warmth and support throughout the event.

And on a personal note, it was also a joy to reconnect with our Head of Korea(Jaeun Lee)  and CEO(Daniel Han) in Busan after such a long time.

Looking back, Fly Asia 2025 was more than an exhibition—it was a stage where conversations unfolded across languages, ideas turned into stories, and collaboration created lasting memories.

From interpreting interviews that shaped media coverage to creating content that captured the event’s spirit, every moment became a reminder of how meaningful it is to connect, adapt, and share.
